01About these terms
These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement ("Terms") are between you and Vonleck, the developer and publisher of Cinderdeep, Blackhat and Rise to Glory (each a "Game"). By installing or playing a Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or play it.
The store you got the Game from also has its own terms: the Google Play Terms of Service or the Steam Subscriber Agreement. If they conflict with these Terms on anything about your store account, payment or refunds, the store's terms win.
02Your license
When you get a Game legally, Vonleck gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play it on your own devices for your own non-commercial use. The Games are licensed to you, not sold.
03Pro versions, gems and in-game items
- Pro versions. Blackhat Pro and Rise to Glory Pro are one-time purchases that unlock extra features in that Game on your store account.
- Gems and other virtual items (such as gems in Rise to Glory) give you a license to use them inside the Game. They have no real-world money value, cannot be exchanged for real money or sold, and cannot be moved to another account or Game.
- Virtual items that are used up, such as spent gems, cannot be restored once used.
- Progress is stored on your device. If you uninstall a Game, clear its data or lose your device, your progress and unspent virtual items may be lost. Pro purchases can usually be restored from your store account.
- Prices are shown in the store before you buy and include the taxes the store applies.
04Refunds and your right of withdrawal
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its refund policy. If something you bought doesn't work, contact us at contact@vonleck.com and we will help.
Under EU law, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content such as Pro versions and gems that you receive immediately, that right ends once the content is delivered, if you agreed to immediate delivery when buying. This does not affect your right to a working product: if a purchase is faulty or not delivered, you are entitled to a fix or a refund under the law.
05What you may not do
Unless the law allows it or Vonleck gives you written permission, you may not:
- copy, sell, rent, lend or distribute a Game or any part of it
- decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer a Game, except where the law expressly permits it
- remove or change copyright notices, trademarks or credits
- use a Game, its art, music or code to make a competing product, or to train or build other software or AI models
- use cheats, hacks or modified versions to get paid content without paying for it
Blackhat is a game. Its "hacking" is fictional and happens only inside the Game. It does not teach or let you access real computer systems.
06Videos, streams and screenshots
You are welcome to stream our Games, make videos and share screenshots, and to earn money from those videos and streams on platforms such as YouTube and Twitch. Please don't present a Game as your own work or share the Game files themselves.
07Ownership
The Games and everything in them, including code, art, music, characters, names and stories, belong to Vonleck or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. "Vonleck", "Cinderdeep", "Blackhat" and "Rise to Glory" are names used by Vonleck for its games. These Terms do not give you any rights to them beyond the license in section 2.
08Updates and changes
Our Games are actively developed. Vonleck may release updates that add, change or remove features, balance, items or content, and the store may install updates automatically. These Terms apply to updates too. We will not remove features you specifically paid for, such as what a Pro version unlocks, without a good reason such as a legal or technical requirement.
09Warranty and consumer rights
We work hard to make the Games run well, but they are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Vonleck does not promise that a Game will be free of bugs or run without interruption on every device.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law, including the Finnish Consumer Protection Act and EU consumer protection rules. Where those rights give you more protection than these Terms, those rights apply.
10Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, Vonleck is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from your use of a Game, such as lost profits or lost data. Vonleck's total liability to you for a Game is limited to the amount you paid for that Game and its purchases.
This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
11Ending the license
You can end these Terms at any time by uninstalling a Game. Vonleck may end your license if you seriously break these Terms. When the license ends, you must stop using the Game and delete it from your devices.
12Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live. EU consumers can also use the EU's online dispute resolution options.
